Free Design Service
What's Included
Once your request is received, along with accompanying information and blueprints, it is entered into the design request queue. Each design is assigned a Project Reference Code. When the design is completed, you and your customer will receive a package that contains a marked set of customer-supplied blueprints showing color-coded speaker/horn placement and the following components:
- Project Name and Project Reference Code with date
- Legend confirming the bill of materials
- Confirmation of transformer tap settings (if applicable)
- Connectivity drawings with color-coded highlights
- Optional equipment notes if applicable
- Product specification sheets if requested
- Scope of Work confirming equipment requirements
- National account registration if applicable and any topographic or environmental factors, if applicable and previously identified to us.

As this is a free design service, it should not be interpreted as a complete engineered design package. Detailed line diagrams, installation drawings, wiring schematics, conduit layouts, network architecture documentation, and construction-level engineering documents remain the responsibility of the project designer, consultant, engineer of record, or installing contractor.
As noted in the disclaimer included within the cover letter, Bogen provides equipment and layout recommendations based on the information supplied to us and cannot guarantee that the resulting system design will satisfy all project-specific requirements without further engineering review and field verification.

- Before starting the design request process you will need to have the following information and materials at hand:
- Floor plan blueprints are the keys to the success of the design! The form only accepts compressed .dwg files.
- Your name and contact information
- Name and contact information of the contractor involved
- Project name and location
- Deadline for submittal
- Key end-user individual(s) and contact information
- Number of zones and specific requirements for each zone Once you have your materials gathered, simply navigate your browser to our online Design Request Form and follow the prompts. If you wish to submit your request by means other than an online form, please contact us.

Sound Masking Design Request:
What you do:
- All Bogen sound masking designs require a Nyquist paging system. To receive a complete, accurate Sound Masking design, a Paging Design form must be submitted FIRST. Please review the Free Paging Design requirements first, submit the Free Paging Design form, and move forward to the next step.
- Before starting the Sound Masking Design request process you will need to have the following information and materials at hand:
- Floor plan drawings are the keys to the success of the design! The form only accepts .dwg drawings.
- Roof plan- showing HVAC
- Reflected ceiling plan
- Floor layout- showing location of any furniture
- Structural ceiling height, drop ceiling height, wall height
- Flooring and drop ceiling material
